Does anyone know if these have to be clear by law. Im looking to get a smoked or tinted black one for my corsa but im not sure if it will pas mot if its been changed?

Anyone have any idea about this?

Shouldn't matter so long as it illuminates the plate sufficiently well, which a tinted one may not.

I'd be surprised if that's able to light it up enough - unless you stick a mega bright LED bulb in there or something.

They're only about £6 new from Vauxhall, so if in doubt buy a second one that's clear.
