factory coating on items like this is rubbish, i fitted new wishbones from VW and the black paint isn't durable at all, in fact after a year they looked the same as the 14yr old ones

Slightly annoyed, only managed to fit one side as the cunting passengar side lower arm was slightly bent so wouldnt line up, car it come off must have been accident damaged, or hit a pot hole or something, so got to get yet another lower arm, get it pwdercoated and fitted grr, to save any fucking about im just going to get a new one from ford then i know it will be ok, otherside went on fine and dandy, replaced my droplinks aswell
Here they are all made up pre fitting
The rest of the pics on the car can be found in my project

you sure it was bent?, lower arms can sometimes be a bit of a fiddle to get lined up, takes a bit of messing around and levering to get the 2 innerbolts straight.

yeah it was quite a bit off and inspecting it off the car can see where the edging has crimped up slightly where its bent
debating wether to try and bend it back or taking it somewhere that could bend it back, but might be weak now

unless the powdercoater sets fire to it or something
