my dad turned 60 last week, hes always loved tr6's and had one when they come out and sold it for a thousand pound. managed to find a decent one ,£7k for the car and 1.5k for mohair roof and bits and bobs.

got a 4 hour drive to norwich to collect this,

then am driving this across to summerset (sp) to collect this

off topic but you say he sold the TR6 he had for £1,000, my grandad had a red E type, mint condition, sold it for £200!!

would have been worth a decent amount these days..

@Bazza; Why don't you drive to somerset pick the lorry up then drive to Norwihc to collect the TR6, put it on the back of the lorry then away you go. Seriously looks nice.

the tr6 drives bob on and the wagon will do 7 to the gallon with two motors on the back, plus i need to be there for 11am. Yes as 60th and his xmas present

I'm not a big fan of older sports cars but the TR6 always looks the nuts. Very aggressive styling I like them

Surely doing 7 to the gallon with 2 cars on the wagon will be about the same as having both cars and the wagon running?

Our lass is running me down she would end up in France if she had to make her way back on her own. Am not a fan either, typically it was the tr6 he liked, can get the 5 and 7 tr's for a grand and there is loads about unlike mint 6's .
