if the 2nd pic is the plug for the afm then it looks to me as if its an early loom from a dissy engine

It's a late type coilpack loom.
That 7 pin plug is for the ignition amplification module.

yer its the later type loom mate, is the plug for the fuel pump relay near the plug for the ecu?

Late type loom mate for a coil pack.. the AFM plug is on the other side of the loom.
