Filling out job applications but i've been freelancing* for the last few months and wondering what you put down as the current/most recent employer (detailed section, wants address, name of employer etc) - do i list that i've been freelancing, list the most recent company i freelanced for or just skip the freelancing all together and put down my most recent employer?

*Yes everything is above board, taxes 'n' all

Depends on the person you've been contracting for. A lot of the freelancers in our business aren't allowed to say who they've been working for or the projects they've been involved in.

If you've been a successful freelancer for a few years, it's a good indication of your skill

Just put a contact name and address, what your position was, and work carried out. If they want to know company name, they can ask the contact you put.
