Its called lazyness, depends on the driver and all TBH in my experience I've worked at two major parcel companies and they are all as bad as each other

Me personally, if I was the customer i.e you, I would of kicked off and asked for a Before 9 AM nextday upgrade free of charge unless they left a "missed you, while you was out" card

You have to bear in mind there are two types of delivery you'd get off DHL:

- normal DHL (for parcels coming from overseas)
- DHL @ home (for domestic deliveries)

The @ home service can basically be a delivery by anyone in their own car (the woman that delivers stuff to me uses a Fiat Seicento FFS) so they probably aren't going to be as arsed as the "proper" drivers.

DHL have done this a few times to me, i think one if the qualifications needed to be a DHL driver is an IQ of under 50.

As Sam said, there's two DHLs that operate although I think the Domestic at home brand is being sold which is good as there shit. I use DHL a lot at work but only the Express even for UK.
