is it possible to hold 2 policies at the same time? obviously you cant use the NCB on both. but could you use NCB on one policy and just have a seperate policy?

Only problem is that it gets a bit expensive as you can't use the bonus on the other car. Although some companies will match it if you ask them about taking out another policy. Admiral being one and there are others.

They're normally separate policies but you can introductory bonus on the second one.
But yeah, can work out cheaper if you consult your existing insurer.

just i have a policy with my corsa that is a converted redtop, as it is all delclared, but it is only used at the weekends really. and i am using the other halves car for work etc but i need a bigger car (mondeo size) but i obviously need the NCB for the corsa

Crash car on policy 2 - what happens with regards to your NCB come re-newal time with both policies?

You'll still have your NCB on policy 1 but you'd have to declare the crash which might put it up a bit

Wouldn't an admiral multi car policy eliminate this problem?
