I fancy a watch with a leather strap to compliment my metal one. I wouldn't mind an automatic one but don't want to spent loads. Stumbled across the following 2 watches that I really like. Are Tissot any good? And which one do people prefer.

Tissot are good, would need to see them in the flesh to make my mind up but the orange bits look good.

I thought that too. If someone said to me black and orange I would think it sounds crap. But I actually think it looks better like that?

I prefer the 2nd one. The monochromatic scheme has more class.

Tissot are not too bad actually.
My vote goes for the first one.
What is your budget?

I got my dad a nice looking Tissot for his 50th, he seems perfectly happy with it. Looks nice, though I got him a metal link strapped one.

Well I'm not a massive watch person so don't want to spend loads. To give you an idea they both come in at just over £400. If something nicer was available for slightly more I wouldn't rule it out.
I looked at TW Steel watches but think they are a bit big.

That's a good watch for the money! You are getting a nice automatic movement as well
If you wanted to spend a bit less then I would suggest something like this:

But I do like that orange and black Tissot!

Doug that one is really nice! Now I'm torn, the CW one isn't automatic but it looks really good and it's just under £200 less!

That is the range of automatics they do. Some very nice watches!

TW Steel watches are quite funky but I would have to go for a 45mm one.
My only concern is that they might be the next Jacob & Co watch.

They are.
I really do not see the appeal of these MASSIVE watches. They just look shite.
It's people trying to scream look at me!

I have a tissot t-touch gen 1, with a rubber strap.
i fookin love it. feels weird when i dont wear it. only trouble ive had with it was the battery.
and to be fair that was 2years worth of playing with it.
