Ok so sometimes my pc is rather annoying. When you turn it on, sometimes the pc monitor 'goes to sleep' and then I have no way of actually getting the monitor on to work, so I havw to turn the pc off by the button (which I don't want to do) for i to actually work, and even that takes a few goes. Any idea as to how I can stop it ?

what operating system is it? Right click on desktop and one of the options in the properties, screensaver bit on there is about monitor sleep.

Have you tried turning the monitor off and on? Occasionally my tv (which i use as a monitor) does that, but i can turn it off and on and it'll work again
