Hi,
i have just been offered a new job interview and wanted to know if any one has heard off riskdisk? already googled the company but just wanted to see if any one knows 1st hand the company.
Also do many people work in sales ? the job offering is doing cold calling ect. and iv never done any thing like it before, so just wondered if it was a hard thing to learn and become good at.

the best thing when people laugh and say ive just kept you on the phone for 20 mins and im not going to buy it is to say.......... yea but i got paid for it

We give so much abuse to cold callers at our place, we pass them around the office and if anyone is stressed they just release it on them.
The funniest is when you hang up and they call back saying "oh I appear to have lost connection there"

i phone people who hang up before ive had a chance to tell them what im selling back and say, excuse me you just hung up on me, was there any reason for that? it could be about your bill

Cold calling on fones ftl
Cold calling door to door ftw, not everyones cup of tea but is a good laugh and meet some decent people aswell as loads fit mums at home 
I fucking hate door to door salespeople though, but i enjoyed it for about a year

loads people say not interested, even put no salesman on there door. still end up chatting etc and sell them stuff.
fuck knocking doors in shit weather though  thats why i stopped it

Are riskdisk a company who do credit searches etc... on other businesses? If so they phone up here and don't like taking no for an answer

do they seem a decent company ?
tbh with you im just looking for a way out off my current job, i work full time at Morrisons and i need to find some thing more exciting an with better pay

Never used them so I cannot really comment but not too keen on companies who phone up cold calling personally. They occasionally write to us with promotions and things like that but we don't have the use for it.
