My corsa hasnt been idleling properly (C20xe) it bounces if you will it doesnt sit so i took my icv off last night swapped it for one i know works and it made no difference but i swapped the pipes over as it has two pipes on the end and it idles better not a 100% but it will sit and drop now again but at when i dip the clutch the revs drop to nearly stalling !? any ideas ??

no idea tbh it just drops the revs when i dip the clutch :S

i had this problem with mine and i put another afm on and it was ok

Unplug the AFM and see if it makes a difference.

should i drive it without it on and is it the bit after the air filter ?

No you shouldn't and probably can't, yes it's the bit after the filter.

Unplug it and see if it makes a diference to how it's running. If it does, it's most likely the AFM isn't your problem.

its on the end of that pipe with the 2 hose clips on under the inlet manifold, the pipe next to the header tank. The unit looks like this-

looks cold start feed if thats what you are on about where there is black pipe going into it from the throttle body

tank vent valve is what that box is known as.
