Bought it a year ago but hardly used it, could now do with learning how the mofo works really. I'm a letting agent so it'll be used primarily for internal shots of properties using a Sigma 10-20 lens, any tips for achieving bright shots ideally without the flash?

Tripod, medium f-stop in AV mode, let the camera sort out the shutter speed. Keep the lights on but balance it out by setting a colour balance. Don't shoot towards a window which is letting in tons of light into a darker room or you'll blow it out.

Simple

Awesome, that's much better. What would you say the highest aperture is you can get away with without needing the tripod?

Impossible to say without knowing how dark the room is. You want to get a balance between a useful shutter speed and detail in the shot.

Generally F8 - F11 will give maximum clarity throughout a scene but if the room is dark you'll have masses of camera shake.

Without a tripod or flash I would say 2.8-1.4 at ISO of 800 or above but the DOF would be tiny.

Tripod all the way.
