Bad news, it's probably long gone now though. In a million bits in someones unit ready to be sold off.

Yep it'll be in loads of bits ready to sell so someone can feed their drug addiction.

You are joking, right?
You think a 'druggy' would go to all the effort of stealing a transit, trailer, and rally car, to then sell on specialist parts that can be easily identified?

I don't think smack heads have the intelligence or state of mind to de-assemble a rally car and sell the parts more than likely be gyppos

A couple of local scallys stole a van just to tow away my xe corsa and probably sold the bits for a couple of hundred quid at most and it had some pretty pricey bits on it.
I imagine most parts on it will end up on the local scally scoob

Thats fair enough.
The point I was making is that the sort of people who have drug problems, are the sort of people that steal your Satnav, or Headunit. Not a Subaru rally car complete with van and trailer.
It will have been done by someone who knew exactly what it was, and exactly where it was.
Edit: its a shame either way, complete cunts. I had my XE Corsa dragged away by some scumbags in a recovery truck and that was gutting, let alone a 9 month project on its maiden race.

Why RWD?
As said, probably taken since (I'm assuming) it'll have some veeerrryyyyyy pricey bits attached. And I think that the comment about druggies doing it was a joke.

Not that they give a toss but I cannot see how these people overlook the grief that they cause. Any ideas what's happening insurance wise with it?

I "think" the van and trailer were third party only......but the Subaru was fully comp, but not covered since it was on the trailer.

Ouch.
I think I'd steer clear of the BBC news team and claim it was parked next to the van for the night tbh

but it was on CCTV and he probably thinks by showing the CCTV footage he has more of a chance of getting his motor back.
He hasn't, it's long gone

Lets be honest here for a second its an old Impreza WRX not exactly a modern WRC car.. They probably nicked it for the trailer! But thats what makes it 10 times worse, when some fucktard nicks something that holds great value to yourself only to make a few quid.
