Probably because if you can keep one in MINT condition and low milage it will hold a good value in years to come when the rest have been ruined by chavs i would love one and restore it

Be alright as a cheap runaround you will keep for many of years.

When i was at uni i was going to get something like this, run as cheap as posible and hopefully get most of my money back once sold.

its still 18yrs old, regardless of mileage it will be overpriced.

i don't get why people would think this has loads of live left in it with no problems, and the same people would turn their nose up at a nice BMW on 120,000miles thinking its had it

it's never going to appreciate that much though is it? probably 500 quid here or there but it'll never be worth alot in that spec.

Yep the only thing good about that is the low mileage shell is perfect for a conversion.Save all the hassle of buying a rotten shell and doing all the work.

Deffo wont be worth what folk think they are.

I know so many people who said that in the early 90's when they were weighing in MK1 and MK2 escorts.

My mate couldn't give a mk5 Cortina away 10 years ago, now it would fetch a few grand.

That Nova will appreciate, no question for me. It's a shame old people only buy pov models but it's still a wise buy if you can keep it tidy.

They're collectors, it's nearly 800 quid with 2 days. Not sure anyone is thinking about that as a daily driver.

the guy who owns it at the moment says its his daily driver, maybe he bought it for that, then realised the truth
