That should be ok.
But if you plan on doing a full boot build or upgrading it all in the future. Might aswel just buy a 0AWG kit so you never have to upgrade the cable, there is one on that website for around £40

Get what you pay for mate, if you were planning on doing a serious setup people say you should spend half your budget on wires.

yeah i guess but ive bought both my sub and amp second hand (well picking up amp tomorrow) theyre supposed to both work but who knows until i try so i don't want to waste too much money on wires incase it doesnt work lol
what about a slightly cheaper alternative 4awg kit? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160482739305&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

its easy,
Live from battery to live terminal on amp
Ground - from seatbelt bolt oe something elses mounted to the chassis to the ground terminal on amp
Switch live - i cut into the one for the headunit and use connector blocks to connect it together, but there is switch lives all over the car.
Then obviously RCA from headunit to amp and speaker cable

Make sure you disconnect the battery first aswel.
