I reckon they're too late. The iPad has been out for 6 months now and sold millions.
If big businesses wanted touchscreen stuff like this they'd have already been and bought that wouldn't they?
Plus the App store is a million miles ahead software-wise.

Its an interesting product. Too many missing details to really say whether it might be any good or not.
I think the supprising area of sucess has been the iPads adoption by business so it will be interesting to see how they try and push thier business background to say its better.
That said I think you have hit the nail on the head - too late. I know our company is investing quite a lot of money onto iOS development, making iPhones available as the business phone. I can't see them switching to this.

RIM/Blackberry is still regarded as the device for enterprise, unlike the iPhone or Android devices which are pretty much aimed for the consumer (although Apple are trying to push into the business side of things, likewise RIM into the multimedia consumer market) and so i think this will do fairly well.

It'll only do well if salesmen make any commission from them, that's the only reason anybody buys blackberry's now.

Not really, in a work enviroment the security aspects of a blackberry can give are massivly better than any other phone on the market

Opening an owa port is about as bad as I can see the security being, you can remote wipe just about anything syncing with exchange now.
Everything being routed via blackberry is a massively outdated way of dealing with it and takes control away.
Salesmen make massive commission on blackberry so a lot of customers are duped into believeing it's the best/only way to go about it.

install Blackberry Express on a server and then you will understand. Disabling the camera or text messaging. Stop programs from being installed force a password on the handset. Black list the handset
