hey i brought a blanking plate from ebay with the water flow cut out, i have a 1.0 12v. put the blanking plate on now it keeps leaking out my water... would this mean i have to buy two new EGR gaskets?

yes when Blanking the EGR valve its recommended you put a gasket either side of the blanking plate before reassembiling
