G/f has a 02 1.2 Corsa Comfort now. She was told that it'd be serviced by the place she bought it from, which is why she had to wait a bit.
I get it home & have a see .... black oil, tap water for windscreen washers, dirty coolant.
So it's due a service.
Plus it rattles on idle, sort of like
* running a tin cup along a jail cell door,
or
* them ball things you'd put on your bike spokes as a kid
Any idea what that noise is, or whether it's just normal?
Anyway, will be needing:
1. Air Filter num
2. Oil Filter num (also, which oil? 10w/40 Semi Synth ok?)
3. Fuel Filter num
4. Cambelt kit (if there is a kit), or relevant part numbers for this change (assuming it's a belt, or a chain, whatever).
4. Pollen filter num
* Also when changing cambelt, is it like the Astra (in that, while the belt is off, you have access to the water pump also & so then may as well change the pump while you're there)?

The Z12XE is chain driven, which it why it's rattly. I can't advise you if that's okay or not but probably better to get it changed!
Just go to Halfords armed with the registration number and they'll sort the Oil, Air, Fuel and Pollen filter out for you, as well as oil. Halfords own brand oil will be fine in a 1.2 Corsa.

I find service parts at vauxhall aren't all that expensive. Halfords are just as good though except they never seem to stock my air filter.
