You could probably use a USB hard drive dock I'd imagine.

Well what I have done is broke the charge but on one laptop and fucked something hdd related on the other...need to wipe for spares or repair sale

take it apart, there will only be about 4 screws

drill through it. In theory some of the data could be retrived but unless its worth millions no-one will bother trying

I think a large magnet should destroy the data also?
