What do people think of them? My dad used to have a 1.4 TDi which was quite nice to drive really.
Audi so it's decent quality, comes with a decent spec and the little diesel engines are fairly nippy, even if they do sound like tractors
Can pick them up for about £4000-£5000 which i think is pretty reasonable

i think they are a bit of a middle aged persons car. Will do everything you want but people won't envy you

Lets be fair, people don't really envy a white V reg corsa with white wheels either ha, they look ok with the upgrade 17" wheels and leather, but i do agree that not many young people would drive one

There are lots of other cars out there with small diesel engines
They're good though, they were definitely a bit before their time though...

To be honest im not too bothered about it being a small diesel engine, just looking around at what i'd like, theres too many to choose from!

Nice enough I suppose, but slightly odd looking compared to what you could get.
Ibiza tdi would be my first choice in that size of car.

Great cars but reflected in their price. Old shagged ones are still financing high prices. Too old now can get something far newer/less miles for the similar money

Yeah i've been looking at facelift Ibiza FR's, probably have to be a diesel though because the 1.8T is a fair bit more to insure. I'd love a Cupra instead but thats way out of my insurance price range

i am not a fan - i also see ALOT if shite ones. If you get one look out for a boot full of water and check the central locking / windows / alarm all works properly - the convenience control units are proper crap..
