Priced up a brand new Scirocco with a couple of extras and came to £30,600

Thats a Scirocco R 2.0 TSI 265PS 6spd manual, i added leather interior for £1600 and black paint £430

Doubt i would actually buy one due to the high price, my mind goes blank when i try to think of others.

Would you buy something nearly new, sold by a dealer?

S3. Looks nicer inside and out.

Does a Scirocco R not even come with leather as standard? You could have a much better spec'd S3 for that money, probably could even have the Recaro seats in it too.

Scirocco R looks sexy as fuck but no way in hello would part with that much money for A. A Vw and B. a Fwd one at that

true, i agree, if i parted with £30k i think part of me would feel i had missed out on something else

what has happened to toyota? they don't seem to make anything decent now, where is the supra, MR2, celica etc or do they still make the c?

Yeah Toyota seem to be thinking of ways to have 10brands all selling the same souless White goods style cars. I can remember going to an open evening in like 1991/2 with my Dad to a Toyota/lexus dealership. I got to sit in a bright yellow brand new MR2 and a red Supra it was fucking ace!

Nothing like that now what would be cool to a 9yr old. Prius? Err

Would be 3 year's old though atleast and you'd only get one that cheap privately i'd have thought, not from a dealer w/ warranty.

Scirroco R seems a bit expensive, might be more tempted by the new Impreza saloon STi @ 31/32K which is coming out soon i believe.

Top spec Mitsubish Evo for that price, whole lot more of a car.
