Cars and Bikes in Poland are pricey. I work with a Polski and he was saying some cost nearly twice what they do here.

Why you complaining? You had something for sale, and someone bought it. Moneys money, no matter who gives it to you.

A lad at work also sold his bike to a polish feller. He came over with a sprinter van and a bag of money to pick up as many bikes as he could fit in the van, Then back to poland with them.
He was telling him how he did it, Basically bidding on the bikes over there, getting enough to make his trip worthwhile, Basically been able to sell the bikes and make enough to cover the costs and make a profit!

They might be woth double over there but dont forget that they need to be converted to LHD and registered in Poland ( if road legal ofcourse) + expense of trip here and back. although they are making money by taking peoples stuff from poland to UK, so earn money by going each way.
