I've got a memory foam single in the spare bedroom, it's nice but I don't think it's worth what I paid for it. Certainly want a topper for my double though, they are quite nice to sleep on

I remember it being a bit strange when I had sexual relations with a lass on one as we were sinking in to it but comfortable to actually sleep on

Had a topper, was nice but got pissed off with it kept on sliding off the bed, so bought a memory mattress, horrible at first but now its 'worn in' its great. TJ hughes is the best place imo.

Got a double memory mattress here, certainly not cheap (was around the £4/500 mark) but i think it's certainly worth the cash.

Edit - It takes a week or so to get completely used to a memory mattress though as you lay completely horizontal but likewise, everyone that's stayed in my bed said it was the best nights kip they've had.

I paid that for a single don't know why I bothered because I went and bought a house a few months later and then needed a double (had no space for one at parents)

Mattress and frame was suppose to be £2500 but managed to get it nearly half price due to the store having a sale and knowing someone that worked at the place so got a staff discount as well To be honest i don't think i'd have purchased the mattress if i had to pay full price but after having one i would happily spend the money getting another
