Hey

Thinkin of getting some pressed number plates for my corsa, but the thought of them being illegal is putting me off a bit

Whats the worst they can do if you carry the standard ones with you at all times ?

Fixed penalty notice, continued offences will probably land you in court. DVLA can reclaim your plate if you have a personal number and you abuse it.

i made a set of plates in my old work for my mates bmw and the police confiscated them on the spot and sent him packing with a fixed penalty notice and no number plates lol, my corsa has had pressed plates on it for ages and my girlfriend has never been pulled with them

Havent got a personal plate.But its probably not worth the hassle really is it . Does make some cars look really nice though

i hate them lol im going to replace mine as soon as i get a chance, the only reason i kept them on was i broke the standard ones and was to tight to buy new ones lol

Better be safe than sorry i guess lol. Think ill order a set of new legal ones, at least they will look cleaner than what ive got now haha
