i'm not disputing that at all. i just know how fast those gtr's are and how fast they just seem to launch in whatever gear
i'd like to see a video just because it'd be pretty cool.

My 350bhp Evo8 didnt have a chance against my mates gtr from any kind of start. His was running 100bhp more than standard tho. In standard form it was a lot closer so a corsa would be pretty close from a rolling start.

just worked out the bhp/weight ratio
mine=roughly 270bhp per ton
gtr=270.69bhp per ton

It isn't all about the power to weight ratio but it certainly helps.

The GTR has 4wd and masses of electronics to help it get it's power down.

Power and torque and aerodynamics come into it too.
If that wasn't the case, then the Ferrari Enzo (with 485bhp/tonne) would be near enough level with a Veyron in a straight line

I wasn't referring to a race up to 60, I was talking in general. If it was 0-60, the GTR would be away. A race from 30-60 is quite a narrow view of performance. Impressive non the less.

obviously 0-60 it would thrash my corsa,it was more 30-100,you need to have wind resistance to have downforce.
