I've got loads from when I bought my flat, just moved money around on good rates, cheaper than the mortgage. Also allowed me to get a better LTV on the mortgage as I borrowed less on that, which meant a better rate again.

Still use one now for internet purchases and the others are there but deals are gone and there are BT fees now.

I have 2 cards...

One with 5.5K on ...the other with 2K on

if the computer says yes, then thats why you have been offered a card.

Plus the person in the bank wanted to make their crust by flogging you a card.

Draw the max out as cash advance put the money in the premium bonds, then when i comes time to pay off sell them.

Not really, I've never seen free cash advances, you'd be paying mega interest.
