Google reckons Eastcotts for the postcode I have.
Got the house on Streetview, same van outside as is on the Ebay pics, WHOIS'd the domain name for his business, all tallys up
What is the best main station around there? MK?

Yeah, Eastcotts in Cotton End, heading south just past the hangers.
Milton Keynes is probably the best station with it only being one change and 2hrs from Lime Street (as you saw, Bedford is on the wrong line for the north and you end up fannying around Brum/Leicester region). It's about 25-30mins from Bedford (either take the A421 from MK with the road works and get off on the A600 or cut through Millbrook, Houghton Conquest and then either Wilstead or Haynes).

Would have thought it'd be a bit more considering it's near enough £50 on a Sat night

Depends what it needs. Fix the leak and dent first. Then big tyres, roof rack, that type of thing.
