Need something different on mine, the el cheapo BMC is restrictive I think.

The ITG maxogen looks alright, what do people recommend? Just need something that has a solid 80mm(ish) neck and isn't stupid priced (ie under £100)

Antnee i have just a £60 piper-x foam filter on mine and it sounds ace plus seems to have less time picking up between gears. Plus can hear the it dumping the boost slightly in gears through the filter

Panel filter or cone? My airbox is back at home, plus one of the catches is a bit broken, so can't really go back to that.

I'll get a photo of mine in the morning cos it's pissing down with gail force winds at the mo

Its a cone, sounds good and seems to make it sound slightly less like a diesel which is a bonus and still get high mpg with it on

chrit that cold air feed is shit no wonder why it doesn't feel so good.

can you not sort the feed out so it goes around the other side of the battery down to the lower grille or something? all the bends can't be doing the air feeding into it any good, especially as it passes right next to a hot engine.

Same route as standard feed, just enlarged. No room other side of battery, I want to relocate the battery to the boot, but it means redoing my boot install again and loosing the spare wheel

The room for movement in the engine bay is shocking lol I've left the lower half of my air box in so still have a cold feed to the filter

Could you not have a 90* elbow coming off the AFM and have the air filter housing going between the engine and whatever that is on the right of the engine?
