I like that it takes a matter of a few seconds to boot up from off unlike pc that takes a minute. Mine is a low end iMac yet you can never hear it working away. Pc well noisy and with added tower and all other stuff just a bit 1995.

I never said one was better than the other

i said, somethings on osx you have to go the long way round, where you can do them on two clicks in windows, and some things on windows look shit and are dated (to fuck).

There's nothing wrong with the start menu, just been there for 15 years..

Only major advantage of one over the other is one crashes and gets virus's one doesnt crash as often and is less prone to virus's.

one os costs £30 one cost double that for the basic version.

one runs on hardware that costs fuck all, one runs on hardware you purchase with a mortgage

Imagine the amount of built in features windows would have if they could put them in without being sued

Are you comparing like with like. Even a "low end iMac" is still not a small amount of money. You spend similar money on PC and you will get equally good hardware components. My PC is virtually silent and it only cost me £300 to build. If you get a crappy computer it will be crappy. If you spend more money it will be much better.

One of the things that bugs me about the whole "I went into the Apple shop and its so much quicker than my PC" 19/20 you ask what they are comparing it to at home and you find out that its a computer that cost half the value when they bought it let alone now.

The OS argument is one thing but the hardware is a totally different one. The form factor of Apples is great, personally I think you pay a lot for it (that said tho it seems they keep second hand value much more so swings and roundabouts)
