Why not get Ian to put a giant red trader warning under your name? That's usually a very effective way of making money on here, people must see it then decide you are a vagrant or something?

China Marketplace - Again proper cheap stuff, don't get excited by branded things, EVERYTHING is fake, they dont have a trading standards there, ebay will just ban you if you sell fake shit, buy some small things like iPhone 4 Accessories, or research something on what you're going to make a profit on.

That dhgate site looks like it could be worth a shot really, headphones for 60p a piece, sell them for £2 a piece profit over ebay, might be tedious but could see easy results without pumping too much money into it.
£2 - 20p Fees - 66p To Deliver. Only making about 60p per item.
Spend an hour or two with a calculator and pad, and see what's the best to do it with.

The big power isn't coming for a few years yet, as that will be about 3-4k in one lump!

Exactly, so there are jobs as everyone has mentioned, you just aren't really looking for them.

Royal Mail usually hire temps in the run-up to christmas to cope with extra demand. Meant to be good money for whats involved.

I didn't mean selling them for £2 each, i meant making £2 profit on each sale
