mmm it will be £27.42 for my local place, take it if it fails they would fix it? Doesn't look like a normal garage and things may be hard for them...I really can't be arsed working on cars in this weather anymore

I probably wouldn't go there if it might fail, guess there's a retest fee and they'll charge moons for remedial work. But if its likely to pass it's a cheap certificate.

yea Halfords bought out the Nationwide Autocentres in Feb...which is why they're all changing.

i used to work for nationwide, dont use the centre in southport people the guy is a robbing theiving bastard!

hence why i left

your getting nothing cheap. they will fail your car and something and charge for re test. then charge £60 a hour to do remedials. stick with normal test centers id say

i got a voucher with a capital one statement today entitling me to a free mot at kwik fit, im going to keep it and try it out, but when i take it in im going to make it utterly clear if there is anything wrong i will be fixing and see if they are so keen to fail it then

We charge £35 all year round

I've has cars in from places like nationwide and kwik fit and they have failed cars for stuff that shouldnt fail and missed other stuff.. not sure how they manage it
