has any1 had these tappets repaired or replaced in your engines? how much did it cost? i THINK my tappets are gone. im not sure. thers a knocking sound in the engine and it gets faster wen i accelerate.

does any1 know how much it costs ta fix?

my cars a 1.4 16v btw

its about £10 - £15 per valve - mine was doing this a few months ago - cahnged my oil and it has fixed it but probs because the cold has gone!

add some slik 50 the next time you do and oil change, worked for me
