Ok, I have a flashed drive, attempted to make a copy of Red Dead Redemption from the original disc but it won't play, I know its not the flash thats wrong.
Anyone wanna help me with the ripping and burning process?
So many tutorials out there that say different, clearly the one I followed didn't work.

I was looking on my 360 earlier, and attached my Terrastation to it, suprisingly it worked, and gave me the option to copy the game on to that? Try that?

Usually games have to be dumped using a kreon drive or a flashed 360 drive attached to pc because most dvd drive will copy it as a dvd-video not as data. Also make sure to run ALL game thru agbx to check the security on them, even by inserting that game without them may flag you for a ban, you may be lucky because it was not burned right.

100% agree, just download the iso, run through abgx then burn. Word of warning the newest games have ap2.5 which will flag you for a ban until the lt+ firmware comes out.

You need the Samsung Kreon drives still? It's been a while since I did any.
What discs are you using? When burning, make sure you burn from the .dvd file asnd not the .iso file itself, otherwise the layer break will be in the wrong place.
u2u if you need help, though my instructions may be a little out of date if the process has changed in the last few months!
EDIT: should have read the thread... You do need Kreon drives... I got a couple here somewhere!

Just figured out what the problem was. The DVD drive.
After finding out flashed Hitachi drives are detactable, I decided to scrap the idea but since I've been having problems with the drive (reading discs mainly) I changed it for a newer Hitachi drive I had lying around so I flashed that outta interest and the disc I burnt worked fine!
So maybe on the lookout for a spare Xbox I can play online and leave this flashed one offline to play copies on.

Also, there is a couple of new ways to rip the games without needing a Kreon drive
