Heres my '89 Nova 1.2 8v Sting, that i've owned for around 12 months. It was dirt dirt cheap as it had been left in a shed since 2003. It had about 75,000 on the clocks.

I'll let the pictures do the talking. There in order as much as possible.

And now how she stands today.

Comments and opinions welcome

Damn that thing was rotten, well saved. Looks amazing condition now. Love the sleeper look but that xe sticker spoils it.

Other than that it looks spot on!

Lovely, simply lovely.

Gives me such a warm feeling inside to see one of the little blighters being saved, plus being done so in such a tastefull and understated fashion.

Jakey, you reckon it might look better with the GTE wrap around? I do. x

Thanks for the comments!

Ollie, I think it may do, but I want it to look as original as possible. I've got some gloss black skirts here but really don't want to put them on!

Glad the slabs came off. Waaaaay too common. GTE wheels suit it very well.

Looks perfect as it is imo. How about half cage. Bucket seats and harnesses?

Yeah it has got a 4 point cage. Will get pictures this weekend. As for seats and harnesses, definitely no to buckets, I hate them leather recaros if anything and maybe harenesses.
