Aye mate, that's what I'm thinking. Just seems weird that this comes round at about the same time.
I've seen a couple of launches from Cocoa Beach, it's something else.

""If I had to guess at what NASA is going to reveal on Thursday, I'd say that they've discovered arsenic on Titan and maybe even detected chemical evidence of bacteria utilizing it for photosynthesis," wrote Jason Kottke on his blog shortly after the announcement."

Is this really news? Life can survive in circumstances different to our own? How little immagination do these so called specialists working at NASA have?
Why would these Aliens require the same ingredients for life as us? Jesus wept they might not even live on the same plain of time we do, our knowledge of time is very basic.

As far as Man knows (I know this is kind of the point you are making) there are certain ingredients required for any sort of life that's in any way similar to us.
About time though, I wouldn't say that, your knowledge of time may be very basic but I wouldn't say that for the whole human race.

Not long now till we get it confirmed...
life can live anywhere, even OJC's arsehole.
Therefore every planet may have a form of life, but not as we know it (e.g. Where Steve comes from).

- It also includes Operation Dirty Trick, a plot to blame Castro if the 1962 Mercury manned space flight carrying John Glenn crashed, saying: "The objective is to provide irrevocable proof that, should the MERCURY manned orbit flight fail, the fault lies with the Communists et al. Cuba [sic]." It continues, "This to be accomplished by manufacturing various pieces of evidence which would prove electronic interference on the part of the Cubans."
