hadd the same sorta prob, i lost my locking nut!
u could try and fit a socket over the nuts then hammer it on, thats wat i done cos the lockin nuts were shite-o things taht came with the wheels for free.

if all else fails, theres a tool you can get from machine mart, has a reverse thread on it... you drill a hole, screw this thing on, and it'll get the bolt out

all above are ok but PROPER WAY IS..........
U NEED TO TAKE URSELF DOWN TO THE LOCAL DECENT HARDWARE SHOP AND ASK FOR A STUD EXTRACTER, WHAT U DO WITH IT IS U DRILL INTO THE NUT WITH A DRILL SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN THE EXTRACTER, THEN WHACK THE EXTRACTER INTO THE DRILLED WHOLE AND UNDO JOB DONE
bein an engineer we got rounded off bolts nuts etc all the time and stud extrcaters are only thing id use

or the easier way is to carefully chissel off the thin metal ring that surrounds the nut, get a 17/16mm socket beat it on with a hammer (carefully tho) and undo... although the above is alot less distructive
