I'm guessing the bus will be fitted out with the appropriate tyres?

I remember sliding backwards down 3 separate hills last year in the Leon. Eagle F1s are NOT good in the winter (as it turns out, they're not good at all and have gone lumpy!)
I was hoping to have my 4wd car by now, but can't sell mine due to being telephonophobic.

Weight, traction, tyres all probably in order but I think skill and commitment probably count for most of that demonstration.

Momentum and a diff lock are the key.
Work is getting busy with the snow, side streets are a bitch. Realy wish my truck had a diff lock.

The cars are stuck because a bus going the other way was using both sides of the road on the sharp bends just like that one is going up. This forces the cars to stop and wait and then trying to set off on the icy slope just isnt happening in a car or a bus. If the cars didnt have to stop and wait they would be able to get up there just like the bus.

Nope some of the older ones you can hold them in 1st and 2nd but alot of the new ones are just D-N-R.

Does the big heavy engine over the massive tyres not help?

bigger tyres are worse in the snow then skinny ones, thats why rally cars use stupid skinny tyres on snow stages, however yes heavy engine over will help
