Missus's car isn't working as her battery is knackered I think. She rang work to tell them as there arn't any buses either. Her manager said he will arrange a lift with someone else from armthorpe, which is fair enough, but that person is part time and finishes much earlier than my missus. He then said "it's ok, bring a blanket and pillow and you can sleep here" and not joking either
Is there any sort of laws to this kind of thing as it doesn't sound to me like good practice or legal to be honest?

IF they are arranging a lift to work surely they should arrange a lift home.

Thats what she is going to do.
Yeh, she is an assistant manager at morrisons.
Funny thing is, the manager can't get in from not that much more distance away, but thats ok...

Read it properly, the other person leaves early therefore his missus should have the opportunity to leave at the same time

I did read it properly, I can see how you meant it though now it's been pointed out.

Retail is full of chumps who think "team leader" or "Assistant manager" means they are special
