Iv read turning off auto brightness helps battery life too

It was in my pocket on standby!

It used 50% more than it would normally would. Hence there was something weird going on. However it seems fine now.

I didn't receive any emails whilst it was on standby.

Ive turned the brightness down and turned push off on emails.
