a pipercross cone filter and a derestricted airbox with new standard element. what would you have? engine is x14xe if that makes a difference.

A modified airbox with a Pipercross panel filter is regarded as the best option. The airbox is less susceptible to heat soak from the engine and cool air feeds are much more controllable in that situation.

gonna run the standard airbox for the time being. lot smoother and better on fuel tbh

doubt you would notice any change in fuel consuption with drilled airbox and pipercross panel filter.

aye true but it wouldnt heat soak badly like the pipercross. atm the airbox only has the restrictors taken out and isnt drilled
