I currently have a VW Mk4 Golf GTI, the 1.8 20v turbo. Its ok, not slow but not super fast either. Problem is it handels like a boat and they are SOOO common, i know atleast 5 other people who have them. But got offered this earlier by a mate for a bargin price.....
It's a E34 525, Has the later engine, cant remember the code but the older ones are prone to blowing head gaskets. Has 125k miles, is cheaper to insure than the golf probaly about the same to run, full leather interior which is in good condition, a few marks around the body but nothing more than expected. Comes with 12 months mot and 8months tax and has just had a new clutch. Mate wants 500quid for it as he has just bought a reliant scimitar. added a pic of the reliant at the bottom for anyone who is intrested personaly i dont like it, but each to their own.
What do you guys think of the car
