my old car did this
would seem to idle ok at first, but then start coughing and cut out.
would also do it at lights and stopping.

took into garage was running rich as f00k. They ripped the engine apart but the costs were exceeding the price of a new engine so I said f00k it and got rid of the car.

Yer but mine did this and it turned out to be the fuse......Is the sppedo working properly.....get a garage to plug the ECU into a meter to find out the problem....(cost me 20p for the fuse)
