as title sais but what modifactions are needed to install a 12/16v engine into a shell for a 8v lump?

Engine mount, cannot fit a 12v, Although be un-able to run PAS even with 16v, Dash wiring loom, Engine loom, Fuel pump needs to be changed. Poss fuel pipes too.

Fair amount of other stuff too.

Basically it's not worth it, you'd be smarter putting a 1.4 or 1.6 in.
