Feel stupid asking this but my speedo dosnt work and am unsure wats up with it , How can i find ut weather its the cable that snapped or jus the dials sopped working??

Clock's aren't alot of money, but i would say its more the cable if anything!

Firstly establish whether it's a cable speedo or electric.

Cable starts at 10, electric starts at 0.

If it's electric and not working, check the fuses, not sure which number from memory but I think it on some of the other dash / accessory socket / radio circuit.

Yes will be cable then.

I'll move the thread to Help Zone.

You need to get the clocks out to check the condition of the cable.

See my instructions in here to get the ignition cowl off - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=534377

Then you need the screws either side of the clock surround and one inside off, then there's a screw either side of the clocks themselves and a clip on the top which needs pressing upwards. The clocks will come out towards you, if the cable is still connected it'll need reaching around the clocks to unclip.

With the speedo cluster removed,drive the car and put your finger in the cable.If its snapped you wont feel the metal rod inside turning.
