im in the market for tele 40 or 42' should do the job, just wanting to know if the LED ones are better then your normal lcd/plasma and if there are any certain brands to avoid? probs gonna go have a look later this week but wana narrow down my choice as i obv want the best for my money, are LG's alright?

There's about five threads in the last two/three pages about tvs, one about LED Backlit LCD about four/five posts down from this. Find more if you use the search 
LG are ok, depends on model. Obviously you can find loads of info if you Google the make/model. Av Forums would be another choice for info.

www.hdtvtest.co.uk is always a good one. As long as you stay away from shite mags like What HiFi and What Cinema you'll be fine
