Id just not put it on for the hassle and just get eco tec adaptor plate and use a eco tec pipe as it does exactly the same job and sell the power cap to fund it

I've got both the power caps got to make a difference the air can get into the intake better as the powercap is bigger

had both as well but i picked the ecotec pipe over the powercap as 1 i had never noticed any great difference with it fitted and 2 i wasnt cutting my bulkhead just to fit it

As said, if the brake lines are in the way then you will have to fit new ones and locate them elsewhere.

ecotec pipe is the easiest and cheapest way and im sure there will be no difference powerwise between the two. think it looks neater aswell to be honest.

because they only discoverd the ecotec mod wen people started doing conversions if the eotec was out wen the gte was around that would have been a mod for that back in the day lol and the throttle will only suck in as much air as it wants so bigger wont matter mate i used the ecotec one as its all the same size pipe right the way to airfilter and piss to maintain

They wont make any difference. Most people who have had them fitted think they are faster with it on only because the ecocrap pipe was fitted badly.
However i am sure once mr gedend fits it he will then be racing M3s and the likes.
