i remember somebody constantly saying they where gonna buy one as their next car

well i drive past one everyday going to work, totally standard, and looks very clean, no visible rust, i'd take a stab in the dark & say it has v.low miles also, as most cars over here (Isle of Man) do.

its the grey colour with the red gt graphics

and its going for a ridiculous price of £500 ono, im gonna stop at it tonight for a closer look cause i have a friend back in belfast who buys & sells cars also, & im always on the look out over here for bargains for him.

exactly, avg milage is about 5k a year!

only thing is u need to look about a good bit, as being a small island cars generally rot to fuk if neglected due to getting a nice coating of salt from the sea every so often.

this place has its perks! u even get tax relief if you buy a car on finance

u usually get a few things cropping up,

u just have to keep your eyes peeled as most people dont advertise in the paper, but instead just stick an A4 sheet on the inside of the car saying its for sale.

there was a GSI a while back going for 4k, and it had 49k mile on it

you'd just need to travel over on the Liverpool SeaCat as a foot passenger (£19) and then take it back with you (£75)

im going tonight to have a closer look at it, so i'll let you know more about it tomorrow

Theres a minter down by me, driven by an old lady of all people.
Its absolutely spotless & totally standard.
I had contemplated asking her if she'd sell at one point before bbuying the punto

first of its sold!

stopped last night on the way home from work & had a look round it, no rust to be seen anywhere except a couple of small bubbles at the bottom of the number plate & it only had 69k on it!

so got home & rang the fella to be told there was a fella on the way round now with the money. was asking him about it, & it had been a manx car from new (1991) & had FSH - only thing needed was the bottom ball joints replacing & the passenger side electric window didnt work.

if the fella hadn't of bought it, i was going to buy it myself - he said he sold it for £475

fukin bummer!
