i just got one of these

thought it might help prevent over heating,and it also looks preety cool.
when i plugged it in i was amazed how silent the 3 fans were,and my grandad said is it working lol

no i dont think so but they do get quite hotish,and i thought this my help and make my room look cool and it does botth well

it blows cool air into the playstation, creating condensation... which makes the inside damp... which in turn makes the ps3 worse than it was before you started using the fan! Get some dowels made and just raise the playstation off the surface abit. Jobs a goodun

i wouldent of thought so as were the fans are they are countersunk so theres a gap for that reason i would of thought

Does it? I've got a cooling mat for my laptop as it's old and crap, and the fans draw air from the laptop outwards, to draw the hot air away. It doesn't blow towards the laptop at all. I assumed this would be the same?

Can see what you mean but its hardly gonna be that cold the air thats blown in. Also most PCs have a sidefan on the case,so most motherboards would fail according to that theory?

Bollocks does it cause condensation.
Unless you have a cold damp room and a hot playstation you'll never cause an issue by adding a fan.
In fact if the air in your room is that damp the playstation is the last of your worries.
