Is your current rear bench one piece or split fold?

Facelift sports are split fold.

I'll have a look, I've got a feeling it's one solid bench

The only reason it wouldn't fit is if you've got a solid rear bench and tried to fit a split bench not having the centre bracket.
But if you had all the parts for the split bench - both parts and the bracket for the centre - then it would fit because the holes are in the floor anyway.

Pre 97 and post 97 corsa's use different rear bench mounts (the ones on the inner arches) So you'd have to do as davieslim said to get it to work
