what, so the door mirror was folded in or the interior mirror was at the wrong angle

either way how the hell did they work out how to open the door

The interior mirror had fallen off and was hanging by a wire, and they didn't know how to put it back on, so called the RAC

The National Windscreens guy did that on my old C - replaced the screen, then refitted the interior mirror only to snap the fitting on the mirror AND crack the new screen!

@Rich H: enough to get me from A-B.

@Fro: when I got my VW Polo (from car craft) they had the 'Drive away in a hour' thing on (not sure if they still do) but the valetr smashed my windscreen doing exactly the same, he sad it was wonky.

I went mental.
